SSD OCZ και μειωμένη % διάρκεια ζωής

Καλησπερα παιδια,

Ενας φίλος μου μου ζήτησε βοηθεια, έχει έναν SSD εδω και ένα χρόνο αλλα έχει μειωθεί δραματικά το ποσοστό ζωής του συμφωνα με τα επίσημο διαγνωστικό πρόγραμμα της OCZ.

Ο φορητός είναι 7ετίας http://www.cnet.com/products/acer-aspir ... ies/specs/
Και ό δίσκος είναι ο εξής: http://www.storagereview.com/ocz_vector_150_ssd_review


Επικοινώνησε με την OCZ και τον κατηγόρησαν λέγοντας του ότι φταίει ο παλιός φορητός του και δεν δέχονται αντικατάσταση "The laptop you are using is quite old and does not support many of the features which allow to extend the lifespan of the solid state drives".

Ισχύει αυτό που λένε ή προσπαθούν να αποφύγουν την αντικατάσταση;
Ο φίλος μου αποφέυγει να πολλα writes, ότι αρχείο μεταφέρει πάει κατευθείαν στον εξωτερικό σκληρο ή σε έναν 1000ρι WD που είναι installed στο φορητό και αυτός.
